This was art that I did for the 2018 capbb, but my writer dropped out, and this was never posted.

The story was Sam, Bucky, and Steve growing up childhood friends, someplace near the sea where whales come in close, and the freedom they found in a sailboat they were restoring. It seemed like a lovely, peaceful story, and I wish it had been finished.

This piece was inspired by one of the scenes I was able to read. It has an extreme aspect ratio to reflect the depths and un-knowability of the ocean. It isn't quite finished, but I still like what I was doing with it.

My assignment for ArtYuletide was either Stargate Atlantis (been there, done that), the Raven Cycle (which looks interesting but I don't have time), or Hogan's Heroes. I chose the latter since I had watched it as a kid
