Slumbering Hearts Art Post
Slumbering Hearts: Sam is an artist (painter). After losing his mother and fiancé to a serial killer, he hides himself away in a remote mountain cabin. He keeps to himself, only really talking to his brother Dean, ex-military sheriff of Angel's Pass, the nearby town. When a blizzard rolls through and strands itinerant musician Gabriel with him, feelings Sam had thought long dead begin to wake up. Can two lonely souls help each other heal?

None of these are particularly spoilery for the story.
Abstract: I wanted this one to be very symbolic of some of the elements in the story, but at the same time a fairly simple composition.

Story Framing Painting: OMG, I made so many drafts of the mountains! This is version #8, I think. I wanted to try my hand at painting something entirely from scratch. The cabin is the only part of this that I did using a reference photo. This is the main setting for the story.

Title Art: In keeping with the romance novel idea of the story, I wanted it to have its own distinct title art. Although the pencil sketch didn't take that long, turning it into acceptable lettering on Photoshop was the most time-consuming part of this process.

Title art with a couple different backgrounds:

Wallpaper: A more traditional composition (for me anyway) with the characters.
