"Chocolate Luxe" Bloggish Layout

This is an S2 layout that works for basic, plus, and paid accounts. It works for Firefox, and IE 7. I haven't tested it on other browsers.

This is absolutely beautiful! I'll download and try to install, but before I do that I need to ask you if you're okay with changing the header. Of course I'll credit the layout, if I use it. If you don't want me to change anything, that's fine, no problem.

If you're talking about the words on the header, that's just the name and description of the journal. It'll change to whatever your's is.

You can change whatever you want to, if you'd like. I'd just advise some caution if you change the sizes of things, cause it might not line up anymore.

This is still a learning process for me, offering layouts to the general public, so if it's the words that are the problem, please let me know. Next time, I'll know to take them out before I take the screenshot. I really appreciate the feedback. :)

Thank you so much! I was actually thinking it it's possible to put a picture for header, you know. But then agian, the layout is so pretty that a picture may spoil it. I was going to try and intall is today to my LJ,but really my PC isn't working well at all, so I'll have to leave it for the next weekend. Thank you so much for replying, and keep the good work! OK, this is completely random, but I've just purchased a paid account for my fic journal, and I'm looking for a layout. I'm leaning toward this one (hoping it'll work on IJ!).

But I was just wondering, have you ever thought of doing a writerly type layout with fonts or something like this (http://www.againsttype.com/sitebuildercontent/sitebuilderpictures/typewriter.jpg)? I bet it'd look pretty cool.

(And I'm not trying to pressure you into making it -- I already love the two layouts of yours I have! -- just feeding the graphic bunny a little carrot in case he's got the munchies.)

Okay, I just loaded it (using FF 2.0) and I'm running into a bit of a problem ... it's pushing the second column (tags, profile info, etc.) down to the bottom under the entries. Here tis... (http://lili-pad.insanejournal.com/). Do you have any idea what I might need to fiddle with?

NEVER MIND! I forgot to change the bloggish style from "default" to "none." Now it's perfect ... and so beautiful! Thank you for creating this pretty layout!

OMG I *do* not need more ideas for layouts!! I have two started that I'm in the middle of designing the graphics for, but haven't gotten coded yet. I'll keep it in mind though.

I asked the wonderful folks @ everything_lj if there was a way to de-skew the look in Internet Explorer. Turns out if you delete the quote marks in front of Tahoma here:
