Wood Duck in Winter
I spent the last two months unable to access any of my art supplies, other than my iPad and Apple pencil. This painting is me challenging myself to really dig into Procreate and learn how to paint with it like I would with an acrylic painting.
I pulled up the pictures I had saved on my iPad, found one of a wood duck standing in an icy stream, and split screened it with Procreate. I started with really rough shapes, and just kept refining and refining it until I was happy with it.
Preview:

Fulls size under the cut as well a video of my process.

And because I can't resist Procreate's ability to replay my process, here is the time lapse of this painting. You can see where I realized that Procreate's default white background wasn't doing me any favors. The end bit is me trying to add texture to the rocks.
