The baby in the shell was from looking at Anne Geddes site and the babies in pea pods, etc. The shell is where my brain goes, because the chemistry of the ocean isn't that much different from amniotic fluid as far as the underpinning solution goes. So to me, a few logical jumps later, shells represent the creation of life.
